Connect ChatGPT

Only a remote (hosted) server works. ChatGPT cannot start a local npx process.

Steps

In ChatGPT Settings, turn on Developer mode. The switch is usually under Apps / Connectors → Advanced, and under Security on some accounts.
On the connectors page press Create. Use Dyslexia Steps as the name, one sentence as the description (for example Phonics and sight word lists by grade, with sources) and the URL below.
Choose No authentication, tick the trust box and create the connector.
In a new chat, enable the connector from the tools menu.

Check it works

Ask: “Using Dyslexia Steps, how many English word lists cover kindergarten?” The answer should be 23.

Which plans include Developer mode, and its menu names, change on OpenAI's side. On Business and Enterprise an admin may have to allow custom connectors. None of the tools writes anything; all seven are read-only.
