# Dyslexia Steps developer docs

> Documentation for the free, open-source developer tools of Dyslexia Steps (dyslexiasteps.com): phonics and sight word lists placed from Pre-K to Grade 3 with the source of each placement, as CSV and JSON (CC BY 4.0) and as a read-only MCP server for AI assistants. A grade is a typical guide, not a rule, and a placement is not an assessment of any child.
